The aerial photo, taken on the evening of April 4, shows the T3 terminal of the Changsha Airport Expansion Project under construction in Changsha. The terminal is in the shape of a five-pointed star which symbolizes the "Star of Changsha." Currently, the civil construction of the T3 terminal has been completed, with fine interior decoration, electromechanical installation, and related debugging work underway. The T3 terminal has a total construction area of approximately 500,000 square meters, with 75 contact stands planned on the apron. Upon completion, the terminal will handle an annual passenger throughput of 40 million, creating an intelligent, networked, green, and vertical "zero-distance transfer" system. It will rank among China's modern integrated transportation hubs, offering the most diverse transport accesses and the highest efficiency in seamless transfers. The entire project is expected to complete final acceptance and inspection in the first half of 2026. (Photo/Guo Liliang, Hunan Daily)
