The Tanheli Bronze Museum is a historical museum located at the Tanheli National Archaeological Site Park. Based on the "Tanheli Culture", the museum displays a wealth of unearthed bronzes and archaeological findings in Ningxiang. The unearthed objects, especially precious cultural relics such as the Four-Goat Square Zun, are well-known throughout the world. Adjacent to the Tanheli Site, the only ancient city site of the Shang and Zhou dynasties in Hunan Province, the museum houses 5,651 pieces (sets) of cultural relics.
The Tanheli Bronze Museum covers an area of 4,600 square meters, with a construction area of 8,662 square meters and a peripheral supporting area of 70,000 square meters. There are two permanent exhibition halls in the museum, respectively showcasing the Tanheli bronze culture and the history of Ningxiang.
