Located at Sasui Square, Tongdao Dong Autonomous County, the Hunan Dong Ethnic Museum is designed based on the standards set for national second-class museums. Currently there are two exhibition areas open to the public, showcasing the homeland of the Dong people and the corridor bridge of the Dong ethnic group. More than 5,000 cultural relics and objects are exhibited to promote the culture and folk customs of the Dong ethnic group, including more than 240 national third-grade cultural relics. The museum is the first of its kind in Hunan to showcase the Dong culture.
